Re: Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA)

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Yesterday, a majority of the U.S. Senate failed working people by passing the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). Over the next few weeks this bill will come before the House of Representatives. We urge you to write, e-mail or phone Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and urge a NO VOTE on CAFTA at:

101 Main Street, Suite #380
Huntington Beach, California 92648.
Phone: (714) 960-6483
Fax: (714) 960-7806
E-mail: dana@mail.house.gov

We cannot afford to lose more Southern California jobs to Central America. CAFTA will deepen the negative effects of NAFTA and is a stepping stone for the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas (FTAA), which will include thirty-four (34) nations along the entire western hemisphere. We know that you are registered to vote and appreciate your support for the Teamsters Union and jobs here in Southern California. Thank you.

Patrick D. Kelly
Secretary Treasurer
