Danny Herbert

Danny is a 25-year Teamster coming to Local 952 from the grocery industry. He started working with Vons where he spent 22 years, then another 3 years with Albertsons. He was an order selector for 15 years, and also worked as a checker, letdown operator, a put-away fork and a loader. Danny proudly served 10 years as a Shop Steward at Vons and Albertsons, and also was a 10-year member with the TNBC. Danny has always liked challenging management on behalf of our members, and letting our members see they have someone who will fight for them at all times, whether terminations, suspensions or write ups. As the Local’s Vice President and Business Agent, that same fighting spirit and drive continues today. Danny believes frequent visits and constant communication helps to keep him grounded and builds a strong relationship with Local 952 members.
